SLOVAK AND HUNGARIAN STUDENTS PROTECT NATURE TOGETHER IN A BORDELESS GEOPARK
Cannot be visited!
|About 20-21 million years ago, the sea completely receded from the area, with marine formations occupied on land, mostly by multicolored clays and fine-grained sand deposited in rivers, floodplains and swamps. It is due to the oxidation-reduction environment prevailing in the formation of clays. During the excavation of the layer, a Rhinoceratidae fang was found, which is preserved in the collection of MÁFI.|
