Geológiai értékek

The Anna cave, managed by the Bükk National Park Directorate, can be found near the waterfall in Lillafüred. Only a few of the kind can be visited in the whole world: in 1951 it was declared protected, then in 1982 a strictly protected area.

The exhibition place is not far from the city center of Salgótarján, near the road to Ipolytarnóc.

The total length of the passageways of the Szent István Cave is 1,514 m, its vertical dimension is 101 m. In the building in front of the cave you can find the ticket office and a souvenir shop. The length of the passageway shown to the visitors is 170 m, during the trip to and back it’s 340 m altogether, with some stairs.
